Our Vision
is to build an interconnected ecosystem of City DAOs that uses decentralized governance and art to inspire cultural innovation, civic participation and regenerative funding models—transforming urban creativity into a collaborative force for social and economic good.
City Nouns is a Wyoming-registered DAO that empowers communities worldwide by launching city-based generative art DAOs that celebrate local culture, fund public goods and accelerate Web3 adoption. Each City DAO runs its own daily auctions, using proceeds to support local creative and civic initiatives while contributing back to a shared global treasury.
The global framework is maintained by a small group of founders who design, coordinate and grow the City Nouns ecosystem. To sustain this work, 10% of all global-level inflows are allocated to a transparent founder wallet—ensuring core contributors are compensated.
By combining participatory governance, open-source tooling and generative art, City Nouns extends the Nounish ethos and supports Builder DAO’s mission.
